Odoo Assistant connects your AI host to your own Odoo instance over the Model Context Protocol. It reads records, creates and updates them, runs workflow actions and reaches your team on the record chatter and in Discuss — and every write passes a method-name gate before it reaches Odoo.

What it does
Twenty-two tools cover the working day, grouped below. Each one talks to the Odoo instance you connect — nothing is stored on our side beyond what the service privacy policy describes.
Search and read
Search, read and count any model, read a long text field in windows, and get totals per state, stage or month in one grouped call.
Understand the instance
An overview of version, companies and volumes per area; a field dictionary per model; a required-fields check before any create.
Create and update
Create records — reusing an existing match instead of duplicating — and write field values with a verified re-read.
Run workflows
Run workflow actions such as confirm or post, and cancel records, following the state the record is in.
Collaborate
Write notes on the chatter, schedule activities, list who can be messaged, read a conversation, and send direct or channel messages in Discuss.
Documents and modules
Download the documents attached to a record, render a record's PDF report, and explore the instance's modules with generated references.
Safety is structural: deletion is refused, the default deny list blocks cancelling, archiving and mass mailing, and every refusal names the call and the rule that decided.

Enable the plugin in your AI host and connect it to your Odoo in a few steps.

What it can and cannot do
You choose the access level when you connect. It applies to every tool for that connection.
Read only
The assistant reads records, counts, groups and explores the instance. Every write is refused.
Standard
The assistant can also create records, update fields, run workflow actions and send messages.
Deletion is never available on the hosted server, with either access level.
